General

Your contract for purchases made through this web site is with The Duncannon Partnership

Our products are sold for personal use only. There will be no contract of any kind between you and Duncannon unless and until we actually dispatch the products to you. Your order including payment is an offer to buy from us, so nothing we do or say will amount to any acceptance of that offer until we actually send the products to you. At any point up until then, we may decide not to send the products to you and to give you a full refund. If an item is out of stock, we will let you know and unless you then request your payment be returned we will hold your payment until the product is next in stock. At the moment the goods are dispatched and not before, a contract will be made between you and us. All Prices are shown in Pounds Sterling. Duncannon will not add any additional fees to your purchase if you pay via any of the card type supported. Please print & retain a hard copy of the transaction receipt that will be sent to you via email.

Duncannon reserves the right to change prices without notice.

All sensitive consumer data collected on this site is used only for the purpose of completing the transaction. Transaction information is transmitted to our payment partner Advansys ePayments using 128 bit SSL encryption.

You must check that the details of your order are correct as soon as possible and you should print out and keep a copy of it.

You undertake that all details you provide to Duncannon for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered. If you supply incorrect or inaccurate address details and your order is returned to us as a result of this, a charge will be made for re-delivery.

If we have attempted to deliver your goods via Royal Mail contract or our nominated carrier and the goods are returned to us as you failed to pick up the goods within the time limits imposed by the post office, we will treat this as a cancelled order and we may make a charge to cover our costs in sending these goods out to you. You may also be charged postage at our current tariff if you require the goods to be re-delivered.

We regret that we cannot be held responsible if the post office has failed to notify you of an attempted delivery. You will need to take this up with the local sorting office.

In the unlikely event that your goods have been lost in transit, we are unable to refund or resend goods until our enquiries have been completed. This can take up to 7 working days as a trace will need to be issued to track your goods. In most circumstances this will be resolved sooner.

If there are any changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform Duncannon as soon as possible.

Privacy

Duncannon believes that electronic privacy is crucial to the ongoing success of the Internet as a service, commercial and entertainment medium. Our policy is the keep the information we receive from this site completely confidential and used solely for internal purposes. We guarantee that details entered on this site, personal or otherwise, will not be passed on to other parties.

Returns and refund policy

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. We do not collect goods.

Duncannon advise for your own protection to retain a proof of postage in case the goods are damaged or lost in transit. Duncannon requests that goods should be returned in their original sealed packaging where possible. Goods must be unused, and unsoiled and in re-saleable condition. Duncannon is entitled to make a charge for damaged or missing items and this may affect the total amount credited to you.

The consumer protection (distance selling) regulations require that the consumer will provide written notice of a cancellation within 7 working days. The 7 working days start from the day after the day the consumer receives the goods.

Duncannon retains the right to levy a charge on cancelled orders to cover delivery and handling costs. (This applies to orders which have been dispatched before notification by you).

Once Duncannon receives notification from you that you wish to withdraw from the contract (in accordance with these terms) any sum debited to Duncannon from your credit card in relation to your order will be re-credited to that credit card account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order less any delivery or admin charges.

Liability

Duncannon will do its best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as possible after being notified of them.

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, Duncannon shall make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question provided that you notify Duncannon within 7 working days of delivery of the goods. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights.

Duncannon does not accept liability for:

a) Business losses and/or losses to non consumers.

b) Goods delivered to Work/Alternative addresses given by the cardholder which has been signed for other than the card holder.

Please Note:

Caution must be maintained when having goods sent to a Work/Alternative address as Duncannon will not accept liability for goods which have been signed for at the address or company to which the goods were delivered (other than the cardholders address at your request). We strongly advise if you work in a place which has a high number of employee's, i.e. hospitals or universities that you have the goods delivered to your home address as tracing can be difficult in these circumstances.
